1. The first character I first fell in love with: I’m gonna go with Katara. I can tell because homegirl was a constant feature in my sketchbooks for a long time, haha.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Hm….Mai? I think Mai. I started out really disliking her, but now I really love her. She’s an awesome lady.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: I don’t not love anyone except for that douchebag Ozai. :)
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Lol, Katara, Mai, Aang, others probably. Different corners of fandom hate different characters for different reasons that I don’t share.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: I still love him, but my love for Aang waned a bit during season 3.
6. The character I would totally smooch: Big ol kiss on the cheek for Iroh, for being the best.
7. The character I’d want to be like: Everyone has qualities that really admire, but for how this applies, I’d want to be more like Toph, because she does not give two fucks about what you think about her and that’s something I’m personally working on in my own life, haha.
8. The character I’d slap: Sokka or Zuko, but only when they’re being jerks.
9. A pairing that I love: HAHA Katara/Zuko ffffffffff
10. A pairing that I despise: Zuko/Mai. I don’t despise it as much as I just don’t get it. Sure, they love each other, but…their relationship As-Seen-In-Canon just couldn’t get away from feeling like the kind of relationship you have when you’re young and then grow out of as you change.

I think the moral of these posts is that I’m incapable of flat out hating 95% of the characters in my fandoms, lol.



  1. thelcb said: Ozai can rock a goat beard pretty well! But that’s his only good point. Hmm, if you have time, expand on how season 3 Aang tested your love. I don’t really see Zuko/Mai’s relationship as being anything other than a teenager’s love. But it can change.
